Yes, but the Geocenter is just up the road in Fremont where they make Geos!

On the more serious side though, from a selfish standpoint the San Jose area
sounds wonderful (35 miles from home and all that) and we do have Sears
Point, Laguna Seca, and ButtonWillow to choose from for track events buuut,
CA is too far for most listers I'm certain. The temptations of a fast parade
lap at Indy is very enticing...but prolly too far a round trip for most of us
west coasters (as in west of the Sierra's, not Rocky's!). A gathering at
Pikes Peak sounds like the most interesting from a US quattro racing
historical standpoint. Also, like Steve said, the date is set so that is one
less thing to worry about planning...yeah a road trip to CO...by way of the
mojave, grand canyon, New Mexico...any Unsers wanna join in the parade???
That idea sounds kinda more exciting than 80 on 80 out to the midwest (BTDT
and Nebraska is loooong!).
