Ice scraper can scratch windshield if there is a nice layer of road grit in
the ice. I once tried to remove a layer of ice on my windshield and found
that there was some road grim in it.
Found out too late. Got a few nice hash marks on my front glass.

Shoulda used the defroster . . .
