Tyres (yet more)

I'm looking for new all-season tyres for the other 5-cylinder
vehicle in our garage. My priorities are:

1. wet road performance
2. light snow/slush performance
3. dry road performance

In the size required (195/60-15V) it looks like my choices are:

Pirelli P4000
Michelin MXV4
Yokohama AVS U+4
BFG Comp T/A VR4

>From past experience with them on a Jetta GLI I know that the AVS U+4
is a very good tyre for what I want but, they are being discontinued so
I am concerned as to what would happen if I eat a tyre somehow in the
next three years. May end up having to buy a whole new set if I can't
get a replacement.

I know a lot of listers like the Comp T/A VR4 but I have heard that it
is very noisy/harsh-riding. This car is driven by my wife most of the
time and I don't think she would appreciate that.

So I am asking for listers thoughts/experiences with the above four
tyres (or recommendations of others I haven't listed).

Please don't say "get snow tyres..". If the roads are bad enough we'll
be out there in the S6, which does have snow tyres.

OAC: it's just too much fun scooting around the local wet, leaf-covered
streets with a quattro!!

TIA
