AGREED! The stock Bosch tri-electrode plugs are the only plugs I've tried
that made a noticeable difference in performance/starting/etc. They
restored the "quick as you can turn the key" starting performance the car
had when new. I've been told by dealers that they often find that they are
necesary to pass emissions.
They resemble the six electrode designs used for piston aircraft magneto
plugs. Next time you find yourself at a small airport, ask if you can see
an airplane plug, you'll see the resemblance.
