Help; Oil warning light

Today when I went to leave Boston the warning light for oil came on in the
auto check. SO I stopped the car and checked the oil. It read full, so I
restarted the car and checked the earl press gague. it was reading 2 bar at
idle and 5bar under load so I hit the mass pike. hooked up with a 911 and
much to his dismay we played tag at about 95mph or so untill I remembered my
friend saying ,"over 80 is driving to endanger".   The car ran great but why
the oil warning?????????    OH yeah, it happened again after stopping at my
office.
