Sounds like your throw out bearing is getting to older age. It sounds like the
grease in the bearing isn't quite what it use to be. When you put your foot on
the clutch, it loads the bearing, and causes the one race to move relative to
the other, kills any rust that has formed, and heats it up which could also help
to allowing the grease (what's left of it) to get where it needs to be.

I would live with it, but when the roads get real wet in the winter, that's not
gonna help any. If it does it everyday, than you might want to think about
replacing it/the clutch in the next six months.
