Well, my A4 gives me a soft clunk, or click, really, when
I back up in a certain situation, but it's not brake carriers.
Here's the deal... approach the mailbox, going downhill. Brake
to a stop right next to the mailbox. Now, when I reverse
up the hill, as soon as I back up maybe 3 feet, I hear a click
from the rear (this is a manual trans). I don't think it's a
big deal, but can't for the life of me figure out what it might
be!
