Re: Soobie Doo - Where Are You?

The SVX does not have a turbocharged engine. It has a naturally aspirated
flat-6 engine good for about 220 HP in stockform. The only turbocharged
car Suburu ever imported into North America was the Legacy Sport Sedan
available from late '90 - 94. It was available with either a manual or
automatic. Unfortunately, Suburu never imported the Impreza turbo which is
a very nice, fast (200hp 2.0 Litre stock) car which is a favorite for
World Rally Championship lovers (such as us Quattro owners).

The SVX is supposed to be a great Grand Touring car, ie it is not the
world's fastest car, but has good power and good road manners with it's
AWD system.
