Major Decision

Your car, depending on its condition, is probably worth maybe $2,5K - $3,5K. 
Hence, the repair work can eventually reach the stage when you'll never get the 
money you are putting in, back out of the car. A car that's been well-maintained 
(and has the paper work to prove it) is worth more than one that has not, but 
we're not talking major economic differences here. I don't know how much you are 
spending to keep your Audi running but, given the retail value of the car, I 
would be thinking about getting out if the bills started reaching $1K. The other 
issue is when you can afford to move up?
