Pablo, measure your compression before jumping to any conclusions. If
your 1st cylinder has a significantly lower compression, then yes, your
worst fears might materialize in a relatively near future.
If not, AND you do not see any of the following:
1. Significant oil loss
2. Light brown oil foam on the oil filler cap and the dipstick
3. Significant coolant loss
4. A white misty cloud out of the exhaust pipe on a dry morning
then you can rest assured that the gasket will probably last a bit more.
Do not panic yet, check all of the above first.
