Not the way to fix Wind. Wipers

  Hey Folks,
I thought some of you might appreciate a laugh at my expense. I'm
sure the Q-Listers are familiar with the propensity of both Audi and VW
wipers to loosen their own nuts (easy Bob D.) as it were when one wiper
gets frozen to the glass and the other moves.
At any rate, this happened to me the other day and yesterday AM I
found myself with only a driver's side wiper. I get to my garage in
Boston and decide that this needs immediate attention (thereby, jump
starting the short chain of events which would lead to the near
amputation of a particularly useful body part).
Being a morning mental midget and two cups short on coffee I attempt
to pry the plastic cover off the wiper arm nut with a cheap jackknife I
  keep in the glove compartment.
A slight flick of the wrist later and I find myself on the way to
Beth Israel Hospital for stitches to my left plumb puller.

This story also gives me an excuse to wish everybody a WONDERFUL
  THANKSGIVING here in the US
and continued best wishes wherever you may be!

Take my advice, leave the turkey carving to professionals!!!!!!!!!!
