I don't know about the rest of you, but the unintended acceleration has 
allowed me to purchase two wonderful 2nd-hand cars (my first a 90 90Q 
20V which I had to give to the ex-wife, my current a 94 90csq) for just 
a few dollars more than what I would have had to pay for a VW GTI.  To 
be sure, the consequences could have been dire (e.g., withdrawal from 
North America as it seemed just 18 months ago) but luckily Audi seems to 
have come through.  Unfortunately (for me), I think A4 2nd hand prices 
seem to be holding at fairly high levels relative to the 90 series.

Guess I'll have to buy new whenever the 240hp A4q 1.8t comes out (if it 
ever does).
