Did anyone have a fix for the broken off bleed valves on the rear calipers for
the 5000 TQ?

I broke one of my front caliper bleed screws off several years ago.
I drilled out the old one and got a 7mm tap set (~$15) and cleaned
the threads out with the plug and bottoming taps. The drill bit
that you use cannot be any bigger than the hole diameter inside the
threads. Start with a small bit as the end of the bleed screw is
much smaller. Use the new bleed screw as a guide for drill bit size.
Be carefull how you drill as you will muck up the bleed screw seat
with the drill bit. I did this but it has not leaked in two years.
You can examine the other caliper and bleed screw for guidance on drill
and tap sizes before you attempt this.
Easy-outs do not work, The bleed screw metal is too soft for the easy-out
to grip.
