Re: Anyone know anything good/bad about "Insider's Audio"?
Sorry again folks, for some unexplained reason my machine can't talk to
Dan's (GY3WSX@VM.SC.EDU) machine. We're both edu's but everything I
send to him bounces back as undeliverable:-(

Hi Dan,
Did you ever get my reply to your Marvel Mystery Oil question? Hey, a
word to the wise about Smile Video/Audio; they gave me the MAJOR run around a
year ago when I was tryin' to get my Dad a specific TV set for Christmas. Oh
yeah, we got that one we can have it to you in three days...two weeks later no
TV...Hey, where's my Dad's TV!!...Oh we can't get that how about this??? Well,
to make a long story short Christmas came and went with no TV; I had to go to
Africa for three months; Dad had to get his own TV from another dealer and I
paid him back in April. Good luck, but BEWARE OF SMILE:-)
This "Insider's Audio" is a club that has $40.00 yearly dues that my
brother found. I know all about the guys in the backs of the magazines; I
$ub$cribe to VIDEO mag. and a few year ago got about $7.5K retail worth of
video equipment for about $3k through "Power Video" in Texas; they were real
straight shooters, no "bait and switch" nonsense.
HTH,
