Hello,
I have a couple of questions regarding an '87 5000 TQ.  First being the 
steering rack.  Did Audi have the steering rack problem taken care of 
by '87 or am I going to have similar problems that the '85 suffers from.
Second the auto climate control.  Has this been taken care of by '87?
