The Haynes manuals document a simple procedure using a white wall facing an 
area of level ground.  I'll look it out.
 
The cut-off at the top of the Euro light beams is _incredibly_ sharp.  It takes 
a full turn of the screw to lower the beam 1cm at a distance of a couple of 
metres, but you can judge the effect with a resolution of perhaps 2mm.
