Regarding Mr. Echelberger's comment on body rust and galvinization:
I have an 1986 5kcstq, and it *does* have double-galvinized
body panels. My understanding is they started this on *all* 
1986 Audis (4k & 5k). Anyone know any different? My car has lived 
all but the last year in Western Michigan (now San Diego), and it 
has absolutely zero body panel rust.
Do be careful of previously damaged vehicles, though, as if not repaired 
properly the galvinization may be cracked, and then you may have rust
problems.
