Hi guys,

the diagnosis on the S4's steering rack is final - the control module was
going bad due to the rack's defect, and *luckily* AofA is picking up 80% of
the tab - thank goodness! I would be bankrupt if I had to pay for that
repair! ($ 2,000 + $ 262 for the module (which I've already paid for))

I was worried I wouldn't be able to pay for this month's payment on the S4's
loan!!

Thanks to AofA as well - at least my sticking with the marque for this long,
even though no prior help from them has paid off!

PS: Has anyone checked out the new Caddy Catera? (a.k.a. Opel Omega) I just
saw one driving by the other day, and except for the ridiculous drl's (I
would drl, but using the normal low beams, not the inboard highs), it looks
quite appealing! Of course, I would prefer a V8Q...still like the boxy look!!
