This sounds like a bad connection somewhere.  Any connector or
perhaps a bad and intermittent defroster wire on the glass?  Do
you have an oscilloscope?  If so, look at the defroster current.

Check the antenna ground, etc.  Most interference is conducted.  This
sounds like it may be radiated interference since it does not obscure
a strong signal.
