Stabilizer Arm Bushings

I just did them on my 87 4KQ. The ones in the control arm are easy,
cut the lip off and push out. Lube up new bushing with silicone and
hand press in, should be easy. Now the ones on the bar were much
harder, you should have them pressed in, but taking out the
stabilizer arm is a pain. Any way the mounts on my car are crushed
from some bottoming out, so even if I wanted to I couldn't take them
out. I cut the bushing in half lubed it up and put it back. Don't
know it this is smart but so far so good. Any comments guys? Good
luck.
