The Wed Financial Times reports that Herbert Demel, chairman of Audi, 
is going to head VW of Brazil.  Audi's board was expected to appoint
Franz-Josef Paefgen, current head of R&D, as new chairman.
Demel replaces Pierre-Alain de Smedt, who is to become chairman of
Seat in Spain.  All this follow the resignation of Jose Ignacio
Lopez, who headed VW's production and purchasing.
