Similar point. On the return trip from Santa Fe, in the U-Haul, noticed Johnny Law and his pals setting a speed trap. Two officers drove
west past us, side by side doing the speed limit. Then about five miles up the road, you come across three more cruisers in the median turn
around. Pointing west and waiting. One officer had his binoculars focused down the long straight strecth of Nebraska highway, waiting... I'm
sure that if I had been running radar (what's the point? Truck governed to 69mph and the limit was 75mph...) it would have gone off as they
tagged the gut in front of me.
As Paul says, if you can't see well enough... but we can't drive with our passenger glued to spotting scopes can we? Advantage - Johhny Law.
