Speedometer "FIX"

So  I still haven't fixed my sproadic at best speedo-odo, but have found a 
way to know how fast I'm going. In 5th (recorded on a day when it was 
actually working):
65 mph=2600 RPM
70 mph=2800
75 mph=3000
80 mph=3200

I know that others with 200's and the curs-ed electrical speedo/odo have 
found ways to jimmy pins/wives sewing needles into the electrical 
connectors...but that just seems too daunting. Taking the dash apart scares 
me.

How much do you all estimate a "fix" would cost?
