As far as gas mileage goes, the earlier, lighter 4000s with the
wide ratio 5-speed boxes can easily give you 35+ mpg. The later
cars with bigger engines and closer ratio transmissions give you
much better performance, with some loss of fuel mileage.

Even though this is listed as an optional item, most 85 and later 4000s
that I've seen are equipped with sunroofs. The latter ones are power
tilt/slide.
