1996 Coupe???

Was brousing the internet yesterday and saw a Quattro Coupe from South 
Africa which appeared to have the A6 V6 engine.  I did not know exactly 
what year it was, but I guess it is a '96.  The car looked just like an 
S2, but with different wheels.  Why don't they make this car for the 
states?  It seems like it would sell well enough, considering the demand 
for 1990 and 1991 Quattro Coupes.

There was also an interesting looking RS2 that I had never seen before.

These cars were not 4-sale.

If anybody can fill me in on these two cars, I would be interested and 
would appreciate it.
