When you say correct, do you mean the size stated on the wheel itself, or
what it is by using a caliper/measuring tool?
I ask this because the last time I went to NTW for balancing, I was watching
closely and noticed that the guy put 6.5 on the machine as my wheel width.
Hmm... mine are 15x6 inch rims...
I asked him about it, and he said that he measured it as 6.5, so he was
going to use that. He showed me how it measured 6.5, so I let him continue.
So, should I have insisted that he use 6.0? I have not noticed any problems
with the balance of the tires. Perhaps he was correct?
