Heavy shifter

Hey guys I was visiting the local VW dealer the other day and noticed that VW
weighted their shifters with about 5lbs of iron.  I got to thinking.  I
noticed on my 4KQ the shifter is hollow..  I thought some more..   then got
the bright idea to fill the shifter rod with lead.  It seemed to work I added
about three to four pounds the the weight of the shifter rod.. I then upped
Vw and cast a cyclinder of lead around the longer of the two shifter rods..
This added an additional 10 pounds to the shifter rod weight.  Now give me
another week and I'll tell you guys if there was any shift improvments or
not... I'm just seeking approval from the Audi Gods for such a
modification.....
