There's a fiber optic inspection tool with built in illumination,
be darned if I can remember what it's called, which may save you
from pulling the head.  --hate to see those manifold studs snap
off like that!  Anyway, the tool fits easily into the spark plug
hole, and you'll get a "close up and personal" look at the
condition of your cylinder walls since the gizmo gives a magnified
image at the eyepiece.  There's a medical instrument that's
similar, but this's a mechanical inspection tool...
