Eric.....I totally agree with what you were saying.  I was so
"unimpressed" with the first two lines, I deleted the message you were
referring to.  What I got when I instructed was guys who thought they were
the ultimate in street racers and knew more than the "girl" instructor.
They were often brought down a peg or two when I predicted their spins
seconds before they started......One of these "macho" men scared the
bejesus out of Bill Alsup on a test day and I got in the car with the guy
and definately brought him down a peg or two.  BTW, he never did get the
hang of it and never got his license to race in SCCA, though he did get an
IMSA license.
