where to mount best tahrs...



I am reading my recently acquired Bentley, and see on page 44.2 that
"greater tread depth should be mounted on front wheels".  The section
closes with "if front tires show significant wear, the front tires
should be exchanged with the rear tires.  Greater tread depth on the
front wheels increases driving safety --mainly in wet road conditions--
and all tires will have approximately the same service life."

All the recent discussion notwithstanding, I'll continue mounting mine
on the front when faced with this situation.  I did not see a
recommended rotation interval.  I generaly rotate every 10K when I check
pads and wheel cylinders.  What is your experience?
