How to remove Rain-X

To remove Rain-X: Use Fantastic. It might take more than one cleaning,
like two or three, but it works real well. Also: Windex with ammonia
works but not as effectively as FANTASTIC.

BTW: Fantasic is also the best remover of wax and road scum, like tar,
oil and rubber debris from long unwashed hiway miles. It  outperforms
the so called special (petroleum based solvent) cleaners like nobody's
business. It will also remove some of the rubber in the window gaskets,
leaving a black film around the edge of the window if it's not dried up
carefully.
