Q-heads in Boise/Flagstaff areas

Greetings,

I'm heading (with the better-half, of course) to Flagstaff from 1/3 to 1/7. Boise from 
1/10 to 1/14. We're on a research mission to determine which of these two places are more 
amenable to our likings. We (well, _I_; wife's a NE native) are tired of New England. 
Anyone interested in a get-together/sightseeing/tourguide/brewpub adventure?
