I'd been thinking about the cowl area. Leak started before I got
windshield replaced because of pitting from winter driving. New windshield
was installed as well as the gasket and sealant. I'm thinking if I remove
the water tray directly  under the louvers maybe I can see something,
though I think it will reveal another box or cover which I'll also have to
remove.
