Brighter Backup lights

Hello all

I found at a local automotive store (Canadian Tire, for those in Canada)
replacement  backup bulbs that are halogen and 55 watts (CDN$9.95 each).
I was thinking of getting a couple.  Does anybody know whether this will
overload the existing wiring or put too much heat at the connectors?
