Interesting thread. 
While I was visiting the folks, the local Audi dealer had several
interesting used, non-Audi cars for sale. Im waiting for the manual A4,
but a nice used car.... 

The two cars I looked at:
1991 M5: 300+ HP (trade quattro)
1989 944 Turbo (keep quattro)
I thought it over, and decided to get an A4 turbo quattro.

The real reason.....
That Secrets of Speed video we ALL have! I want a turbo _quattro_ so I
can be like Hans, Walter, Hurley and the gang. 

Ive always enjoyed manufacturers using production technology in racing.
Thats why quattro is so interesting to me.
But if quattro had never existed, I would probably have a new GTI VR6.
(My first car was a Beetle!)
