The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago...
I was able to open the door by:

1. Before squeezing the handle, push the door in towards the latch.
   (From completely closed position)

2.Squeezing the handle.

3.Maybe will open??


If this doesn't work, there are two screws which remove the door handle.
The one outside located under the chrome on the handle itself, and one
parallel to the door handle, inside the door jam.

By opening up the rear door, I was able to unscrew the bolt within the door
jam in the front. (Tidious process, but can do!)
Once bolt is out, door handle can be removed. Simply MANUALLY push
downwards on the rod that goes to the latch. Door should open!


Sounds like your door handle is broken and needs to be replaced.
