Parts Fiche, digital on PC

What is the system used by Audi Dealers that looks like a digital version of
the parts fiche?
I recently saw this for the first time at a dealer in Buffalo, NY.
Instead of a fiche and reader, they had a large screen (21 inch?), with the
diagrams on it.
Is this replacing the fiche?
Is it on CD-ROM?
It seems like it could be a lot easier to use than the fiche.
