It's no secret that the Audi's bodystyle was copied by several car
companies.  Too bad most of them didn't get a hint and put in AWD.

BTW if Audi didn't make Quattro, I would still buy one.  Have owned a
couple of FWD 5000 Turbos and they are great cars as well, although not
as solid as my 5000TQ.  My father has even owned a '38 Auto Union that
was built by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche (now being restored by the Imperial
Palace in Las Vegas).  If Audi didn't exist altogether I would probably
buy a Porsche C4 or new Turbo because I really can use the AWD where I
live.
