Re: Better tires in the front.



It does seem logical to put the best tires where the most
work is done.  But I saw a compelling report recently
suggesting the opposite.  If you are going around a slick exit
ramp, where to you want your best traction?  In other words,
would you rather understeer (with the "weak" tires in front), or
oversteer/spin (with the "weak" tires in back)?  Understeer
tends to be a better "control" situation.
