Unplug the electrical connector (there's a little snap-on metal
clip holding it down).

Unscrew the sender with a big wrench or a pair of vice-grips.
A few glugs (technical unit) of coolant may leak out; none did
on either of my cars. 

Installation is the reverse of removal.
