Bose radio
Thanks to all of you that responded regarding the Bose radio. I should
have provided some more information... it is not CD but is cassette
(autoreverse). The big question seems to be the amplified speakers.
My car did in fact have the Bose amplified speakers (doors and trunk), so
I assume that the radio does not have any power output and relies on the
speakers for power (underline assume !). Here is some more info that
might help:
Blaupunkt Delta US II
893 035 093 A (M443)
* Front and rear antenna jacks
* Works with the computer dash display to indicate "Tape" or
radio station
* Main plug is red, about 1/2" wide and about 2" long and plugs into
a block of 10 spade connectors on the radio. There are three of these
"blocks" of 10 on the radio, but I'm not sure what the others are for.
* Bass and treble, "ARI-Z" (some sort of traffic channel that really never
took off), fader, amber display, standard DIN mount, PIN code programmable
but not set now (IMHO, more trouble than they're worth)
Hope that helps...
Bob
