(urQ price list)RE: Used A4 Prices

All
Being that I am pursuing an urQ I have done a little research in this
financing stuff. I found that
the blue book that my credit union had listed the 83's as follows. High
was $10,150 and low
was $6150. My credit union is willing to loan 100% of high blue book
value provided the has car
Ca. smog certificate and passes their visual inspection. Keep in mind
that cars in general sell
for more money here in Ca. Hence I've started looking out of state. I
have not looked up the listing
for the 85 because I really don't care what the blue book claims. I am
looking at it more as what it is worth to me. In the U.S. those books
like many other things in this country are done more for corporate
America not the individual Americans (thats an opinion). Plus that is
only a reference point
for banks or people - not the true value of the car.
If we followed blue book or Consumer Reports or other publication's
advice, we'd all be driving Hondas. Correct?
