Well, having once subjected my baby ('87 4000CSQ) to a 
Sears alignment (read "don't anyone out there be as
_stupid_ as I was), I suspect that the mis-alignment
of the Earth is a direct result of the continued
existence of Sears Automotive.

As for your suggestion that Earth be handed into
their evil clutches for an alignment, I would have to ask
just how "wobble" do you think this planet can take?
