Re: Should I?
Mike:
I just bought a 1987 5KCSTQ with 119k miles in excellent condition
for $3500.00 in New Hampshire.
Everything except the radio was working when I bought the car.
Turned out all it needed was a fuse, now it's fine except the
speakers are a little flaky (cut in and out for no apparent reason)
The guy was asking $3995.00 at first, but I was able to talk him
down. There was some risk involved. I don't have any of the records
(AWK!) So I really don't know the history of the car. But for the
past 3 weeks, it's been great--especially today in the snow!
I saw another '87 5KCSTQ advertised in Massachusetts for $4995.00.
This car was black/black leather and had only 73K miles (!)
Unfortunately, I didn't have the $$ for that one...but I'm VERY
pleased with the one I have.
Good Luck...and remember, N E V E R give them the asking price!
