Strange symptoms

Hey Y'all,

Several times in the last couple of days the oil can icon has appeared on my
check system display.  The car is an '89 200TQ with boost enhancements.

The oil pressure gauge shows _plenty_ of pressure - right at 5 bar.  The
dipstick shows the oil level to be right on the full mark.  I'm using Mobil1
10W30.  The oil and filter (Mahle) were changed within the last month.

The icon comes on only under hard acceleration.  At about 1.9 (or so) bar of
boost the engine falters (somewhat like hitting the fuel pump cutout for
overboost) and the icon appears briefly.  

Alright Fellers, what's happening?
