The above IS not correct, it can last 5 to 7K depends on driving condition,
don't listen to the likes of Jiffy lube that will have you change your oil
every 500 miles if they could.
I am not going to comment about the synthetic oils since I don't use them
anymore, I will let our esteemed list members discuss it with you, I
believe I am in the minority here with my use of none synthetic oil.
