Hella drawings to Scott J.
Hi all,
A quick note to inform y'all that the Hella tech drawings I mentioned last
week have been sent to Scott (QShipQ) who was contemplating such a project
already. This concerns drawings of Hella twin DE light units for the BMW 3
series E30 (OEM), plus aftermarket twin DE assemblies for the Golf III and
Passat III.
Scott is going to look into the viability of making these units fit several
Audis, which includes making new bezels. Fitting these to a
Coupe/UrQ/4K-type car should make the front end resemble the rallying
Lancia Delta Integrales of the 80s. Very aggressive, and effective too. The
DE units are one step below Xenon for a fraction of the price. I hope this
solves the 'eternal darkness' problem for a few people...
I received tons of requests for the drawings themselves, but unfortunately
there's no easy way for me to duplicate, scan or send these huge drawings
(about A1 size) to several people. Snail mail here in Holland is expensive,
but at least it's slow, to paraphrase a well-known joke.
On a different subject, thanks to George Harrison I am again in the
possession of my Audi model car list. Anyone interested in receiving, and
preferably adding to, this list please drop me a line.
Salutations,
Tom
