Like i said in my other post, it is due to the fact that when you start
spinning the front tires, the car will generally continue to go strait, or
nowhere. but in a rear drvive car, if the wheels start spinning
excessively, the car can easily go out of control. The rear could kick out
and so on and then the person would end up off the road.
It is for this reason that the public likes it. They will not lose
control as easily.
