Synth Oil...Go Figure

     Well, after getting tired of paying lots of $ for Mobil 1 I decided to
try the Castrol Synth blend.
I have gone back and forth, back and forth on whether it is really worth
the money to go synth. It seems like our own list here can't make up its
collective mind either. So, the blend it was. Now, here's the funny thing.
With the Castrol blend, I am getting even less lifter noise on my '87 4kcsq
(150,000+) than I was with Mobil 1. Save money, still get some synth
protection, and less lifter noise. Not too hard to figure out what this boy
buys from here on out.
