You are absolutely correct!! I used to own a Mazda and I left the bra on
for an extend period of time. Well, when I took it off one time, I had
brown blotches all over the paint from trapped moisture. Luckily it dried
out in the sun.

I never use my bra on my A4Q unless I am traveling a long distance (over
100 or so miles) on an interstate or through the middle of the state on
back roads. Or during, "Love Bug" season down here in Florida (Love Bugs
are small little black things that explode on impact and contain a very
corrosive acid that ruins paint).

I did use it on my trip from Burlington, VT to Sarasota, FL. My wife and I
took our time and made the trip in 3 days. We went through snow, sleet,
rain, mush, and all kinds of crappy weather. Thank god I had the bra on
the front. Passing big 18 wheelers on the back roads of VT is not a very
safe place for paint on a car. These monsters produce a tremendous amount
of spray. And in VT, the spray was filthy and contained a ton of road
grime and salt.

I left the bra on for the entire 3 day trip. When I got to FL, I
immediately removed it and checked the paint for blotches. I was safe.
The paint was in great shape, thanks to the bra.

Thanks for the info though. It just reinforces what I have found using
bras.
